Spritesy is a small little sprite editor for Bitsy games and projects!

How does it work?

Spritesy creates a file for a sprite which you can import into Bitsy simply by pasting it into the game data. You can press the "Add As Frame" button to add your current canvas to the output box as another frame - which is very handy for multi frame animations. Of course, if you want to delete a frame, you can just edit the output as well!

Spritesy is great for creating sprites for collaboration projects, and it makes creating multi-frame animations in Bitsy easier.

What's a Bitsy?

Who made this?

I did!

The font you see within the app, on this page and on the banner is Raleway, which is licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

Anything else?

Nope! Enjoy Spritesy! If you make anything with Spritesy, please let me know, I'd love to see projects that have used Spritesy in some capacity. Thank you for your support <3

I thought the 'Get Code' button was a bit confusing, as I used it after making an animation with some frames and it gave me the code for only the one which was being displayed in the canvas at last.
Maybe a hint for what it does or some kind of warning when you click it and there's something drawed on the canvas.
Aside from that: great tool!

I'm working on a UI update which overhauls the design, so I'll be making each button's purpose clearer. Thanks for the feedback!

Yep......that's a wee bit annoying.......but still happy to see any tool for Bitsy!
